Win Percentage Calculator
Put in your wins, losses and ties. Because sports treat draws differently, we show the win percentage three ways.

The formula
Win % = Wins / (Wins + Losses + Ties) x 100. Ties as half a win: (Wins + Ties / 2) / Games x 100.
Why ties change the answer
Leagues disagree on how to count a draw. Some treat it as no win, some as half a win (as in the NHL and Major League Baseball tiebreakers), and some leave it out altogether. The calculator shows all three so you can match your league.
A worked example
A team goes 10-5-1. That is 16 games. With ties counted as losses, the win percentage is 10 / 16 = 62.5%. Counting the tie as half a win it is 10.5 / 16 = 65.63%. Ignoring ties it is 10 / 15 = 66.67%.
Using it for yourself
It works for anything with a win and a loss: your chess record, a gaming ladder, your fantasy league or a debate team.
