The formula

Annual pay = hourly rate x hours per week x paid weeks per year. Standard year: rate x 2,080.

How to convert hourly pay to salary

Multiply your hourly rate by the hours you work in a week and by the weeks you are paid in a year. At 25 an hour for 40 hours across 52 weeks: 25 x 40 x 52 = 52,000.

Part-time and unpaid weeks

If you work 25 hours a week, put 25 in the hours field. If you take unpaid weeks off, lower the paid weeks, for example to 50, to see a more realistic yearly total.
